Job Description

We’re hiring up to two Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to run a high-volume, insight-driven outbound motion targeting funeral homes nationwide. As a BDR, you’ll be the first voice prospects hear from Gather. You’ll use research-backed insights, cold calls, and structured follow-up to generate a qualified pipeline for our Account Executives. This is a high-activity, high-impact role built for someone who loves the phones, thrives on repetition, and wants to grow a long-term career in SaaS sales.


What You’ll Do

  • Execute high-volume cold calling (~100 calls/day) from enriched, prioritized lead lists
  • Use insight-based outreach that highlights gaps in funeral home websites, operations, and revenue opportunities
  • Identify and qualify decision-makers (owners, directors) and internal champions
  • Book qualified demos for Account Executives
  • Enroll prospects into HubSpot sequences and keep CRM data clean and current
  • Follow up persistently across call, email, and SMS with interested-but-not-ready prospects


Qualifications

  • ~1 year of sales experience (SDR/BDR or equivalent)
  • Cold calling experience strongly preferred
  • Comfortable with high daily activity (100 calls/day)
  • Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) and sales sequencing tools is a plus
  • Strong communicator who can simplify value quickly on the phone
  • Organized, process-driven, and disciplined with CRM hygiene
  • Curious and coachable — able to learn a new industry and messaging quickly
  • Grit: comfortable with repetition and rejection
