The Relationship Manager is the primary point of contact between the company and a dedicated portfolio of Consulting Group and Family Office clients. The RM brings deep, practitioner-level command of tax and financial strategy — and is expected to lead client engagements with both the relational fluency of a trusted advisor and the technical authority of a senior tax professional.
Required
- 7 years of experience in tax, accounting, finance, or a closely related professional advisory discipline
- Deep technical command of tax and financial concepts — including income tax, corporate and partnership taxation, trust and estate fundamentals, entity structuring, and wealth planning — with the judgment to apply them to complex client situations
- Proven experience as a primary client relationship owner in a professional services, family office, private banking, or consulting environment
- Strong background in trust and estate planning for high-net-worth individuals and families, including working knowledge of trust documents and their application
- Proficiency with tax research platforms (e.g., CCH, Bloomberg Tax) and the ability to apply authority accurately to specific client fact patterns
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; ability to build financial models and produce polished, client-ready materials
