This is a 7-month contract role with a strong possibility of a multi-year extension. This role will support the ongoing operations of the current application landscape, assess new business demand and help to implement modern work practices, coding standings, SDLC and release management while a parallel stream will focus on future strategy and implementation.

Essential Functions
- Initially focused on managing change to existing applications and processes as part a stabilization exercise
- Excellent at building and maintaining business relationships and managing expectations
- Working with senior stakeholders to understand, capture and prioritize their demands related to IT projects and managing their expectations
- Prepare accurate and detailed high-level estimates as part of the Demand Evaluation process
- Navigate complexity, work proactively and autonomously
- Develop a strong understanding of existing system and application landscape
- Balance competing demands on new business requirements, time and resources against future strategy as it evolves
- Close collaboration with internal development and test team to plan and deliver high value features
- Manage any change requests related to the working project plans to meet the agreed deadlines
- Provide BAU, Bug Triage and Release Management for the existing application base.
- Responsible for Project Management Documentation and Project Administration in line with our agreed methodology
- Maintain & monitor performance levels, controls and processes to minimize risk along with management level reporting
- Ensure compliance with all organizational, legal and regulatory requirements including SOX compliance and Security Standards
- Educated to a degree level in Information Technology or Sciences ideally to a Masters level
- At least 5 years’ experience in IT project management in a commercial organization (B2B preferred), ideally with at least 2-3 years in a financial organization or even aviation supply chain management
- PMI or Prince2 certification at professional level highly desired
- Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley and the aviation or financial industry
- Experience of implementing and building internal tools and processes to deliver value to the business quicker and to a high standard
- Experience in working in both an Agile and Waterfall environment is preferable
- Must be a Self-Starter and exhibit intellectual curiosity
- Excellent time and work management skills, able to prioritize competing demands from conflicting sources
- Experience in project planning
- Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), Procurement, Supply Chain or Inventory Management systems a distinct advantage
- Experience of working with senior stakeholders including C-Suite members
- Experience of estimating effort and input into program planning
- Critical thinking
- Experience throughout the entire software development life cycle
- Knowledge of IT-compliance (SOX) and operational excellence models
- Good understanding of Aerospace Parts Market/Aircraft Leasing or Leasing/Financial Services a distinct advantage
- Well-developed partner management and relationship building skills
- Positive, can-do attitude towards a very demanding internal customer base
- Experience of working with senior stakeholders whilst delivering change and value to the business
- Excellent English language skills (both written and verbal)
