A leading national law firm is seeking a talented M&A Associate to join its Transactions Practice Group. This is an exciting opportunity to work on sophisticated U.S. and cross-border M&A transactions, with a strong focus on private equity deals for middle market and upper middle market clients.
✨ Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex M&A transactions with increasing autonomy
- Work closely with partners, senior associates, and clients
- Handle private equity transactions and general corporate matters
- Draft and negotiate key transaction documents
- Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development efforts
✅ Qualifications:
- 4–6 years of experience in corporate/M&A transactions
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Experience with private equity transactions preferred
- Ability to independently manage deals (“deal runner” mindset)
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school & active bar admission
