A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Mid-Level M&A Associate to join its Transactions Practice Group across multiple offices. This opportunity offers exposure to sophisticated U.S. and cross-border M&A transactions, with a strong focus on private equity deals involving middle market and upper middle market companies. The role is ideal for attorneys who are comfortable taking ownership of transactions, working directly with clients, and managing deal processes in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and execute complex M&A transactions, including private equity deals
• Draft and negotiate purchase agreements and related transaction documents
• Conduct and oversee due diligence processes
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders throughout deal execution
• Work closely with partners, senior associates, and clients on transaction strategy
• Support cross-border transactions and multi-jurisdictional matters
• Contribute to business development and client relationship management
Qualifications:
✔ 4–6 years of law firm experience in M&A or corporate transactions
✔ Strong experience handling complex M&A deals, preferably with private equity exposure
✔ Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
✔ Ability to manage transactions with minimal supervision
✔ Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
✔ Outstanding academic credentials
✔ JD from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar membership required
