Responsibilities
- Strategize, manage, and execute content marketing efforts across social media channels, specifically Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube
- Work with our in-house creative services team and video editor to create organic content in the form of new release content, videos, meme-formatted images,etc. that drive organic reach and ad revenue on social platforms
- Ideate novel ways to market Gaia content on social media platforms based on shifting user trends and new platform functionalities
- Monitoring macro trends within the social media landscape, developing playbooks and new ways to scale growth
- Conduct post-performance analysis and reports for use at executive level on performance of reach, engagement, revenue and overall performance of social media campaigns across the individual platforms.
- Be an internal advocate and leader for organic social media within the company — why we do things the way we do, what we post and what we don’t, and the brand voice we seek to embody.

- US citizenship or US residency with an existing work permit is required.

- Must be available to work on our campus in Louisville, CO. This is not a remote role.
- Undergraduate degree in marketing, advertising, or related field is a plus
- 3-4 years experience in social media marketing for a medium to large company with significant social presence (ideally with a social following of 1 million)
- 2 years of experience managing direct employee(s)
- Highly creative, strong writing, editorial, and storytelling skills
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in organic social media marketing
- Experience with web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, SproutSocial)
- Video-editing experience greatly improves consideration
- Strong affinity for Gaia content is a prerequisite to applying.
- Gaia member/subscriber strongly preferred
- Must be able to work full-time in our office in Louisville, Colorado
