Residential Service Plumber

Duties:

• Identify and rectify residential plumbing problems like leaks, blockages, fixtures, water heaters, sump pumps, drain lines, and water lines

• Install, repair, and maintain faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, water heaters, water treatment systems, sump pumps, and other residential plumbing components

• Conduct drain cleaning and basic troubleshooting of sewer and water lines

• Execute residential service calls safely, effectively, and while focusing on customer satisfaction

• Clearly and professionally explain findings and repair options to homeowners

• Accurately complete electronic work orders, service records, and job notes

• Maintain a tidy and organized work environment while respecting clients’ residences

• Adhere to plumbing codes, company protocols, and safety measures

• Manage company tools, equipment, and service vehicle

Qualifications

• Apprentice, Journeyman, and Master Plumbers are urged to apply

• Experience in residential plumbing services is a must

• Michigan plumbing license (Journeyman or Master) is required; apprentices working towards licensure will also be considered

• Preferably, experience in independently managing residential service calls

• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

• Great communication and customer service abilities

• Capability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with a team

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Able to lift, carry, kneel, crawl, and work in confined spaces

• Dedication to safety, dependability, and quality work

Experience in any of these areas is beneficial:

• Tank and tankless water heaters

• Water treatment systems

• Drain cleaning

• Sewer and water line repairs

• Gas piping

• Backflow prevention

• Boilers

• Mobile service software or electronic job documentation
