Residential Service Plumber

We’re seeking enthusiastic Plumbers to join our expanding residential service team in Ann Arbor, MI. As a Residential Service Plumber, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, fixing, installing, and maintaining plumbing systems in occupied homes, all while delivering top-tier customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and resolve plumbing issues in residential settings, such as leaks, clogs, fixtures, water heaters, drain lines, and water lines

• Install, repair, and maintain faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, water heaters, sump pumps, and other plumbing components in homes

• Handle drain cleaning and troubleshoot basic sewer and water line problems

• Complete service calls efficiently, safely, and with a focus on customer satisfaction

• Clearly and professionally explain repair options and findings to homeowners

• Accurately complete electronic work orders, service documentation, and job notes

• Maintain a clean and orderly work area while respecting clients’ homes

• Adhere to plumbing codes, company standards, and safety protocols

• Keep company tools, equipment, and service vehicle in good condition

Requirements

• Plumbers at all levels (Apprentice, Journeyman, and Master) are welcome to apply

• Prior experience in residential plumbing services is mandatory

• Holding a Michigan plumbing license (Journeyman or Master) is necessary; apprentices working towards licensure will also be considered

• Experience independently handling residential service calls is preferred

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities

• Excellent communication and customer service capabilities

• Capability to work both independently and cooperatively in a team

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Ability to lift, carry, kneel, crawl, and work in tight spaces

• Dedication to safety, reliability, and quality work

Experience with any of the following is a bonus:

• Tank and tankless water heaters

• Water treatment systems

• Drain cleaning

• Sewer and water line repairs

• Gas piping

• Backflow prevention

• Boilers

• Mobile service software or electronic job documentation
