We are currently seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist for our client in Barkhamsted, CT. This role focuses on ensuring product quality by conducting dimensional inspections, verifying machined components, and maintaining accurate inspection records.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in quality control, proficiency with PC-DMIS and CATIA, and exceptional attention to detail.
Duties
- Program and operate coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) for component inspections.
- Compare part dimensions with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Review and maintain accurate inspection reports and design controls.
- Prepare first article inspection reports compliant with industry standards.
- Document inspection findings and report discrepancies to relevant teams.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to address inspection issues.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in CMM programming and inspection.
- Proficiency in PC-DMIS and CATIA software.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and dimensional requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
