Salary: $80-100K plus 10% bonus
Job Summary of the Senior Design Engineer: As a Senior Design Engineer, you will work with a team of up to 10 professionals responsible for developing mechanical products and systems to meet customer demands.
Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Senior Design Engineer:
- Coordinate engineering projects by analyzing customer needs, market trends, and competitor products; oversee employee tasks and monitor progress.
- Assess mechanical products through research programs and application of mechanics, hydraulics, and materials principles.
- Validate system capabilities with feasibility studies and testing methods; evaluate product properties.
- Create mechanical products based on customer requirements, testing manufacturing methods, materials, and gathering feedback.
- Enhance manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness by designing and upgrading equipment.
- Ensure product quality by implementing testing procedures; confirm manufacturing and assembly standards.
- Generate product reports by analyzing data and identifying trends.
- Provide engineering support by addressing inquiries and requests.
- Maintain compliance with regulations to uphold product and company reputation.
- Update product database with accurate data through programming and data entry.
- Contribute to team objectives to achieve desired outcomes.
