Job Summary of the Production Supervisor: The Production Supervisor will be leading the production team, supporting the Operations Director and Production Manager. They will supervise staff, monitor workflow, inspect quality, coordinate safety, handle materials, and train team members.
Duties & Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor:
Complete production plan by scheduling staff, assigning tasks, establishing priorities, monitoring schedules, and resolving problems.
Accomplish manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations, coaching employees, and enforcing policies.
Maintain staff by selecting, orienting, training, and developing employees.
Maintain workflow by monitoring processes, observing control points, implementing cost reductions, and facilitating corrections.
Spends 50% of their time in direct labor in the area of responsibility.
Identify and anticipate safety and health concerns, survey environmental conditions, and act as the quality inspector.
Ensure materials are available for efficient production and encourage team members through training and development.
Provide manufacturing information, compile data, and answer questions from team members.
Maintain a safe working environment by complying with procedures and regulations.
Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Education & Experience of the Production Supervisor:
* High School diploma or GED required.
* 3 years of experience in manufacturing.
* 3 years of Supervisory experience
* Demonstrated ability to lead and achieve results through others.
* Ability to perform problem analysis and resolution.
* Commitment to quality and safety.
* Valid driver’s license required.
* Strong customer orientation and interpersonal skills.
* Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft products.
Salary : $75,000 - $88,000
