Salary: $65-75K plus 10% bonus
Job Overview:The Design Engineer collaborates with a team to develop mechanical products and systems that meet customer requirements and expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Execute engineering projects based on customer requirements and market analysis.
- Conduct research to evaluate mechanical systems and products.
- Develop and test manufacturing and assembly methods for mechanical products.
- Design testing methods to ensure product quality and system capabilities.
- Maintain product database and comply with regulations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies through continuous learning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Experience with heavy haul trailer or heavy equipment engineering is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel and design software tools.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of cost accounting and lean principles.
- Ability to adapt to new tools and systems quickly.
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
