Childrenswear Technical Designer

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire process from pre-fitting to final production approval
• Conduct fittings with live models, make notes, edit comments, and communicate updates to international teams
• Collaborate with the Technical Director to develop initial technical packages and full graded specifications
• Implement necessary fit corrections with guidance, utilizing diagrams and patterns effectively
• Communicate with global partners to address construction and production issues
• Engage with production team to track sample approval status and adhere to schedule
• Collaborate with agents and vendors to troubleshoot garment engineering challenges
• Maintain detailed technical documentation throughout the development process
