Assistant Childrenswear Technical Designer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate in the technical design of childrenswear products from initial fitting to production approval
• Assist in fittings with models, recording measurements, notes, and adjustments, and communicating updates to global teams
• Work closely with the Technical Designer to develop detailed technical packages and graded specifications
• Implement fit corrections as directed, using patterns and diagrams to achieve desired fit and style
• Communicate with overseas teams and vendors to troubleshoot garment construction issues
• Participate in weekly meetings with Production team to track sample approvals and ensure adherence to timelines
• Engage with agents, offices, and vendors to address engineering challenges throughout the product lifecycle
• Document technical details accurately throughout development and production
