JOB SUMMARY AND PURPOSE
The Janitor cleans Traffic Department, removes debris, and keeps all areas neat, clean, and organized. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to the supervisor. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sweeps and mops floors.
?
Cleans Traffic Center, offices and break room by emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning surfaces.
?
Uses cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces.
?
Cleans and services restrooms with mops and disinfectants. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
?
High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
?
One year of experience in the care and cleaning of buildings.
?
Knowledge of the standard methods, practices, tools, and equipment used to clean buildings.
?
Knowledge of the qualities and uses of various cleaning and sanitizing compounds.
?
Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety rules and regulations.
?
Knowledge of building and property security procedures. SUPERVISION
