What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rental Coordinator position at G&W Equipment, Inc.?
As a Rental Coordinator based in our Raleigh, NC branch, you will work directly with our customers and internal departments on any rental equipment needs.
Key Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Communicating via phone and email with external customers and internal service, transportation, and sales departments
- Assisting in identifying short-term rental equipment needs and provide support regarding rental availability and quoting to customers and internal departments
- Creating Rental Contracts and Total Maintenance and Repair Contracts; maintain rental paperwork and documentation to standards
- Working with service departments to schedule rental equipment maintenance and preparation
- Coordinating rental equipment delivery and pickup to customer locations, and ensure all information is logged into the appropriate systems
- Communicating with branches regarding off-rent equipment
- Maintaining accurate and up to date data on Transfer Boards, Rental Release Logs, and in Equipsoft
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years rental experience in the material handling or related industry
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to plan and organize to balance and prioritize work
- Must have excellent computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn role related systems
