Parts Room Clerk

The G&D Integrated Transportation team is looking for a Parts Room Clerk to join our Maintenance dept.

Primary Job Duties include:

• Parts Sourcing – Order, receive and invoice parts for all G&D shop locations.
• Inventory – Ensure accuracy of physical, and electronic inventory. Will also be responsible of identifying obsolete inventory, and work to return it.
• Parts Warranty – Responsible for handling “parts only” warranty claims.
• Parts Pricing – Will need to be able to source like parts from multiple vendors, and ensure G&D is getting the best possible price on like parts.
• Clean and Orderly Workspace – Must display an ability to keep a clean and orderly work area, while identifying ways to improve workflow of parts.
• Customer Focus – While this position serves an internal customer. Customer service to our operations group, and drivers is our number one focal point.
• Complies with all safety policies, practices and procedures and reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources
• Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Provides leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill
• Distribute and transfer all parts along with all returns and credit processing.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Basic personal computer skills, including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.

1st Shift | 6AM - 2:30 PM

$16-19 / hour
