We are in search of a Production Supervisor based out of our Orlando FL manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on position in a manufacturing environment that offers the opportunity to manage and coordinate production activities. This position offers a fast paced and challenging work environment where independence and creative thinking are the norm. Ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels of all the organization is essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the planning, scheduling, and coordination of the overall manufacturing effort.
• Support the continuous achievement and maintenance of all process quality standards and specifications.
• Aid in the training and development of new employees for all procedures, work instructions and quality plans as they pertain to production department personnel and processes.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to production employees

· Develop systems and processes that track productivity and performance to ensure effective return on assets

· Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts

• Maintain GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) as they relate to people, equipment and processes.
• Follows and enforces all safety programs and procedures to insure a safe work area, machine operation and working environment.
• This positions serves as a back-up to the Production Manager to cover daily production duties as they relate to scheduling, production, safety and quality.
• Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS / OTHER REQUIREMENTS

· 2 years of supervisory experience (required)

· 5 years of manufacturing experience

· Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or business is a plus

· Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills

· Ability to create accountability and to lead by example

· Solid understanding of business and management principles (budgeting, supply chain, resource allocation and people development)

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office

· Bilingual (Spanish/English) - Preferred
