Experienced Employment Attorney
Location: Los Angeles, CA
A growing California plaintiff-side employment law firm is seeking an Experienced/Senior Employment Attorney to join its litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to take ownership of cases, work in a collaborative environment, and grow into a future leadership role.
Responsibilities
- Manage employment litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, mediation briefs, and other legal documents
- Conduct depositions and handle law and motion practice
- Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial
- Handle matters involving wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wage & hour violations, class actions, and PAGA claims
Qualifications
- Active California Bar license in good standing
- 2 years of California employment litigation experience
- Ability to independently manage a caseload
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Experience with discovery, depositions, and motion practice
