We are seeking a Director of Nutrition Services & WIC Program to lead a dynamic team and oversee comprehensive nutrition and WIC services that support maternal, infant, and child health.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all Nutrition Services and WIC Program operations.
- Ensure compliance with USDA WIC regulations, New York State requirements, HIPAA, and accreditation standards.
- Provide clinical leadership for nutrition assessments, counseling, care planning, and evidence-based nutrition services.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop Registered Dietitians, Nutritionists, and WIC staff.
- Monitor program performance, quality metrics, participant satisfaction, and operational effectiveness.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and program outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver patient-centered care.
- Build community partnerships and lead outreach initiatives to increase WIC participation and community engagement.
- Oversee departmental policies, workflows, audits, reporting, compliance activities, and program budgets.
Required Qualifications
✔ Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
✔ Active Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential
✔ Active New York State Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN) license
✔ Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical nutrition, public health nutrition, or nutrition services
✔ Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience
✔ Strong knowledge of USDA WIC regulations, maternal and child health programs, and nutrition services
✔ Experience using EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft Office
✔ Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
⭐ Previous experience managing a WIC Program
⭐ Experience working in an FQHC, Community Health Center, or Public Health environment
⭐ Bilingual in Spanish or Haitian Creole is highly preferred

Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
