This role is critical to ensuring safety, quality, scheduling, and coordination across all phases of construction, from mobilization to project turnover.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage all on-site construction activities for assigned projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and budget.Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, inspectors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of work.Enforce site safety protocols and company policies in compliance with OSHA and local regulations.Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality control and resolve any field-related issues promptly.Develop and maintain the project schedule in collaboration with project managers, ensuring milestone dates and critical path items are met.Manage logistics, materials, and equipment deliveries to ensure timely installation and avoid downtime.Maintain detailed daily logs and field reports; track labor, materials, inspections, and progress updates.Serve as the primary on-site contact for subcontractors and trades, ensuring clear communication of plans, updates, and expectations.Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and delays before they impact the project timeline or budget.Represent the company professionally in all interactions with owners, architects, consultants, and municipal authorities.Qualifications:5–10 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, preferably including multi-family or mixed-use developments.Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, building codes, and safety regulations.Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors, schedules, and deliverables on active job sites.OSHA 30 certification (required); First Aid/CPR preferred.Proficient with construction management tools (Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, or similar).Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites across the Greater Boston area.
