What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Specialist position at FTS, Inc.?
Our client is a growing government contractor in the DMV adding an Accounts Payable Specialist to their corporate finance team. What You Will Do
- Process high volume vendor invoices in Costpoint with accurate direct and indirect cost coding
- Review POs, receiving documentation, and project allocations for allowability
- Support weekly check runs, ACH payments, and credit card reconciliations
- Maintain vendor files, W 9s, COIs, and SAM.gov compliance documentation
- Partner with PMs to ensure proper job costing across active contracts
- Assist with month end close, accruals, and audit ready documentation
- Gain exposure to AI driven AP automation including Dela
What We Are Looking For
- 3 years of AP experience with GovCon experience strongly preferred
- Hands on experience with Deltek Costpoint (any exposure to Dela is a huge plus)
- Strong understanding of 3 way match and project cost coding
- High attention to detail and comfort working in a compliance driven environment
