An established insurance brokerage is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Commercial Lines Account Manager to service existing clients and support new client relationships. This role serves as a key business contact for clients, ensuring their satisfaction and long-term success.
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with clients to maintain existing business and acquire new accounts through prompt, accurate, and professional service.
- Process new and renewal business, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and review policies for accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with insurance carriers and clients to update, obtain, or verify necessary information.
- Respond accurately to client coverage questions and carrier underwriting inquiries.
- Provide assistance with claims processing and marketing efforts as needed.
- Stay current on new coverages, products, and industry trends.
- Ensure compliance with agency quality control standards.
- Identify opportunities for new sales and cross-sell when appropriate.
Qualifications
- Property & Casualty License preferred (willing to support licensing for the right candidate).
- High school diploma required; some college or 2 years of insurance industry experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
- Strong confidentiality, attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to analyze insurance coverages, forms, and policies with accuracy.
