Commercial Lines Client Manager

An established insurance brokerage is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Commercial Lines Account Manager to service existing clients and support new client relationships. This role serves as a key business contact for clients, ensuring their satisfaction and long-term success.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with clients to maintain existing business and acquire new accounts through prompt, accurate, and professional service.
• Process new and renewal business, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and review policies for accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with insurance carriers and clients to update, obtain, or verify necessary information.
• Respond accurately to client coverage questions and carrier underwriting inquiries.
• Provide assistance with claims processing and marketing efforts as needed.
• Stay current on new coverages, products, and industry trends.
• Ensure compliance with agency quality control standards.
• Identify opportunities for new sales and cross-sell when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Property & Casualty License preferred (willing to support licensing for the right candidate).
• High school diploma required; some college or 2 years of insurance industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Strong confidentiality, attention to detail, and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to analyze insurance coverages, forms, and policies with accuracy.
