The Role

The Facilities Technician Level 1 role will be performing basic and routine maintenance tasks to keep our facility and its systems functioning properly. This includes tasks like routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and basic troubleshooting. They work under close supervision, often focusing on tasks that require few or no parts or consumables, such as basic preventive actions like lubrication or meter reading.

What You'll Do

• Effectively Assist in maintain plant equipment, primarily related to manufacturing kitchen appliances and refrigeration equipment.
• Assist in executing the plant preventive maintenance program.
• Use of ladders will be required.
• Strong working knowledge of all facets of manufacturing equipment and procedures.
• Use of power tools and hand tools.
• Able to work on painting and spackling projects.
• Responsible for completing tickets and partnering with L2 and Supervisor for advanced repairs as needed.
  
  

What You'll Bring

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of repair and maintenance experience.
• Exceptional ability to work on directed tasks, complete on time with superior quality.
• Basic understanding of electricity and hazards of electricity.
• OSHA safety certification is a PLUS.
• Must be able to lift fifty pounds.
• In a workday: standing/walking 8-12 hours.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
• Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
• Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
• Work assignments may include building zones below zero temperature.
• May be required to work up to 10 hours in 32–38-degree temperatures.

• The expected compensation for this role is between $25.00 to $30.00 hourly, depending on experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
