Brief Description
The Culinary Associate will work with staff and Team Lead for general preparation, assembly and packing of products.
Responsibilities:
Must have excellent listening skills Good verbal communication skills Be able to work in a fast paced environment Ability to clearly communicate in English. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Analytical skills necessary Assist in opening & closing procedures. Apply knowledge of processes involved, production methods, and products to the nuances of everyday operation. Reports all issues that occur daily to the appropriate Team Lead, Supervisor or Manager in a timely manner. Follow security, safety and GMP regulations and ensure correct follow up on all regulations. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. In a work day: standing/walking 6-10 hours or more Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling. Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching. Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals. Constant exposure to temperatures: <-10 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators)Ability to work in a wet and cold environment. Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
