Managed Logistics Specialist We are seeking a customer service minded individual who excels at building client relationships through both their verbal and written communication skills. Our ideal candidate will utilize our special services and features to enhance the clients brand experience to build value in the client’s eyes. This individual must be able to respond to the customer in innovative ways that will demonstrate our committment to quality. They must have the ability to meet the customer’s needs while also meeting the company’s requirements. They should have good organizational skills, a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office computer programs and be effective multi-taskers.
Essential Duties:
Communicate directly with Clients via email and phone
Build and maintain rapport with Clients
Approach all scenarios with a customer satisfaction mindset
Have a proactive approach to addressing Client’s needs
Understand the commitments, expectations, and accountability between Freight Services, Inc. and Clients in the terms of moving goods to and from Client
Understand the pertinent policies, procedures, work instructions for each Client
Keep the Client informed at all times of any changes that might affect the outcome of the client request
Responsible for accuracy of any information entered to any designated internal software as well as responsible for the accuracy of any information that is used to prepare a commercial invoice
Conduct a “service review” with Clients for all manifestation of goods and services
Follow-through on each transaction to ensure commitments for timely delivery and information accuracy are met
Respond in a timely manner to Client questions and requests for information
Work with Team Leaders in defining the qualitative and quantitative objectives of the Team, individuals, and Clients
Ensure that Clients are kept informed of the status of special or “HOT” shipments
Capture Client feedback and observations/problems in a timely manner and report issues
Share improvement ideas
Strive to meet or exceed department objectives
Meet regularly with team members to exchange ideas for improving service, learn new material, and understand company policies as they change
Maintain communication records as deemed necessary
Assist in the development of pertinent procedures
Other duties as assigned my management team
