Box Loader/Unloader – West Jordan, UT (Weekend Shifts)

Freight Breakers LLC is seeking dependable, hardworking, and motivated individuals to join our team as Box Loaders/Unloaders in West Jordan, Utah. This position is ideal for individuals who perform well in fast-paced, physically demanding environments and are motivated by performance-based earning opportunities.

Position Overview

As a Box Loader/Unloader, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and accurate movement of freight into and out of trailers. Successful candidates will maintain productivity, accuracy, and safety while working in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

Loading

• Hand-load boxes from conveyor systems into trailers using floor-loading techniques.
• Scan packages into trailers using handheld scanning devices.
• Transport cages and freight to and from designated staging areas.
• Organize and secure freight to ensure efficient use of trailer space.
• Maintain safe, accurate, and productive loading practices throughout each shift.
  
  

Unloading

• Unload boxes from floor-loaded trailers onto conveyor systems.
• Scan and accurately sort packages into designated cages.
• Maintain a consistent work pace while meeting productivity and accuracy standards.
• Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  
  

Compensation

• Performance-based pay calculated per trailer and/or case loaded or unloaded.
• Average earning potential: $16–$25 per hour.
• Top performers may earn approximately $25–$35 per hour.
• Increased productivity and efficiency can directly increase earning potential.
  
  

Schedule

Weekend Day Shift

• Friday–Sunday
• 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• 12-hour shifts
  
  

Weekend Night Shift

• Friday–Sunday
• 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• 12-hour shifts
  
  

Additional Availability: Additional weekday work may be available based on operational needs.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to repeatedly lift and carry packages weighing approximately 5–50 lbs.
• Ability to perform sustained physical activity for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow established procedures.
