In this role, you will be an integral part of our HR department, providing crucial support with a variety of administrative and data-focused tasks. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the entire I-9 verification process, ensuring strict compliance with federal regulations.
- Scan, file, and organize both physical and digital employee documents to ensure our records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Perform precise data entry into our HRIS and other digital systems.
- Upload and maintain employee records, including personal data, performance documents, and compliance certifications.
- Help prepare reports and audits related to HR metrics and compliance.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including managing mail, filing, and other ad-hoc projects.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality with all sensitive employee information.
What We're Looking For:
- Availability to work 30 hours per week on a consistent schedule. We offer some flexibility in scheduling during standard business hours (e.g., 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday-Friday).
- A high school diploma or GED is required. Current enrollment in a college degree program (e.g., Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field) is a strong plus, but not required.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Strong computer proficiency, particularly with Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets) & Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Quick learner who is comfortable with technology and new software systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- High level of discretion and a professional demeanor when handling confidential information.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a strong desire to learn about HR operations.
