Freedom Dental Health is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team as a strategic leader within the Human Resources department. In this role, you will oversee core HR functions, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance while fostering a positive workplace culture. You will serve as a mentor to junior HR staff and act as a key liaison between HR and organizational leadership.

-Key Responsibilities-
Strategic HR Operations & Administration
- Maintain and optimize HRIS systems, ensuring data integrity and efficiency.
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
- Develop and present HR reports and workforce analytics (turnover, DEI, compensation, etc.).
- Lead process improvements in HR workflows, recordkeeping, and policy development.
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning and HR technology upgrades.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Oversee recruitment strategies for high-priority and hard-to-fill roles.
- Conduct behavioral interviews and guide hiring panels.
- Train junior HR staff on best practices in sourcing and compliance.
- Enhance onboarding programs to improve new hire retention and productivity.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as an escalation point for complex employee relations issues.
- Support investigations and disciplinary actions in collaboration with leadership.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and culture-building programs.
Compliance & Policy Oversight
- Ensure adherence to labor laws (EEO, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, etc.).
- Manage I-9 verification, benefits reporting, and audits.
Benefits & Payroll Coordination
- Oversee benefits administration and resolve complex employee inquiries.
- Ensure accurate payroll processing and leave management (FMLA, disability, etc.).
-What Can You Bring To Our Team-
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. HR certifications (SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
- Experience: 5–10 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership/mentorship.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems like Paycor, Employee Navigator, Docusign, and Dropbox (a plus)
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.

- On-site with possible limited hybrid flexibility
