Regional Controller – East Region (Construction)

📍 Hybrid – Conshohocken, PA | 💰 $150K–$180K | CPA Required

A multi-entity construction company is hiring a Regional Controller to lead accounting operations across multiple entities and sites in the East Region. This is a hands-on leadership role for a CPA who thrives in multi-site, project-based accounting environments.

What you'll own:

• Full ownership of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close across multiple entities, including WIP analysis, percentage-of-completion revenue recognition, and over/under-billing schedules.
• You'll manage trial balance consolidation, balance sheet and bank reconciliations, fixed assets, payroll, and intercompany reporting, while supervising and developing local finance staff across the region.
• You'll also serve as the primary point of contact for auditors and partner on process improvement to streamline close cycles and standardize best practices across entities.

What you bring:

• A CPA designation is required, along with 5 years in accounting/finance and at least 3 years leading teams within construction or another project-based industry.
• Multi-entity or regional experience is strongly preferred.
• You're fluent in GAAP and construction accounting standards (WIP, retainage, percentage-of-completion), comfortable in ERPs like Sage, QuickBooks, or Foundation, and strong in Excel (Power BI a plus).
