What You’ll Do:
Key Responsibilities
As a Parks & Recreation Intern, you will:
- Assist with organizing and implementing youth and adult programming.
- Help manage facilities and coordinate department events.
- Support field maintenance, including preparation for programs and tournaments.
- Prepare reports, schedules, and promotional materials.
- Attend department meetings and training sessions.
- Work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and community organizations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.
What We’re Looking For:
- Enrolled in a college or university internship/co-op program (must receive academic credit).
- Studying Recreation Management, Sports Management, Tourism & Event Management, Hospitality Management, or Forestry.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and have held it for at least 2 years
- Willingness to work during special events (i.e., weekends and holidays) in the Summer time.
