About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst with 4–8 years of experience to join an investment firm. This role is ideal for a compensation professional who thrives in a data-driven environment and is passionate about delivering white-glove service to stakeholders. You will play a critical role in designing, analyzing, and administering compensation programs that support our firm’s strategic goals, while partnering closely with Finance, HR, and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Advanced Analytics & Modeling
- Build and maintain complex financial models in Advanced Excel to support compensation planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
- Provide deep analytical insights to guide decision-making on compensation structures and pay practices.
- Broad-Based Compensation
- Manage salary structures, pay ranges, and compensation programs across all levels of the firm.
- Conduct market benchmarking and internal equity analyses to ensure competitiveness and fairness.
- Equity Compensation
- Support the design, administration, and analysis of equity programs, including stock options and RSUs.
- Partner with Finance and Legal to ensure compliance and alignment with firm objectives.
- Forecasting & FP&A Partnership
- Collaborate with FP&A teams to integrate compensation planning into broader financial forecasts.
- Provide compensation-related inputs for budgeting, workforce planning, and long-term financial modeling.
- White-Glove Service
- Deliver high-touch support to executives, managers, and employees on compensation-related inquiries.
- Ensure clarity, transparency, and responsiveness in all compensation communications.
- Benchmarking & Surveying
- Lead participation in compensation surveys and analyze results to provide actionable insights.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in investment firm compensation.
Qualifications
- 4–8 years of experience in compensation, finance, or analytics, preferably within investment management, financial services, or related industries.
- Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, complex formulas, modeling).
- Experience with broad-based compensation and equity compensation programs.
- Demonstrated ability to build and interpret financial models for forecasting and scenario planning.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to deliver white-glove service to senior stakeholders.
Salary : $120,000 - $180,000
