Location: Jersey City (Onsite – minimum 3 days per week)

Overview
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and highly organized HR Operations Specialist to provide essential support during a 3‑month maternity leave. This role requires someone with strong HR operations or HR generalist experience who can step in quickly, audit and clean HR data, improve processes, and support the internship program.
Key Responsibilities
HRIS Audit & Data Cleanup (BambooHR)
- Scrub and review the HRIS system for accuracy and completeness
- Audit, clean, and update all employee data and records
- Upload missing documents and ensure proper organization
- Correct discrepancies and strengthen data integrity standards
Process Improvement & Automation
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and manual bottlenecks in HR workflows
- Recommend streamlined processes to improve accuracy and efficiency
- Assist in developing light automation (such as orientation tracking or automated reminders)
- Support enhancements to documentation and internal HR procedures
Internship Program Support
- Monitor intern timesheet submissions and ensure timely completion
- Serve as a point of contact for intern questions
- Provide ongoing administrative and operational support for the intern program
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience (HR Operations, HR Administration, or HR Generalist)
- Experience with BambooHR strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and comfort with data auditing
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently
- Strong communication and follow‑through skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
