We're hiring a Network Engineer to join a global IT team in a manufacturing environment. You'll be keeping Cisco LAN/WAN environments running, supporting Nexus data center kit, and helping roll out upgrades across sites. There's a good mix of day-to-day support and project work, including SD-WAN, network segmentation, and OT/IT separation. There's also a wireless side to the role, including troubleshooting coverage and performance in busy manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day support of Cisco LAN, WAN, and Nexus data center environments
- Configure and support Palo Alto firewall technologies, threat monitoring, and incident response
- Deploy and troubleshoot enterprise wireless networks in manufacturing settings
- Support SD-WAN rollout, segmentation, and device lifecycle refresh projects
- On-call rotation for network incidents
- Travel to manufacturing sites to support upgrades and commissioning
Requirements
- Network engineering experience
- Cisco routing, switching, and wireless (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, HSRP, QoS)
- Palo Alto firewall experience
- Comfortable in manufacturing or high-availability environments
- Cisco or Palo Alto certifications preferred
- Cloud networking basics a plus (Azure or Oracle OCI)
