We are hiring an Inside Technical Sales & Applications Specialist with a strong electrical systems background to support military, industrial, and commercial customers. This role combines technical sales, applications support, customer problem-solving, product configuration, and technical quoting.
You’ll work directly with customers and collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing to identify requirements, recommend electrical solutions, and manage opportunities from initial technical discovery through quotation and order.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical sales and applications support to B2B customers.
- Review electrical schematics, drawings, specifications, datasheets, and line diagrams.
- Evaluate voltage, current, power, load, input/output, environmental, and interface requirements.
- Recommend appropriate products and configurations based on customer applications.
- Prepare technical quotations, cost estimates, proposals, and configured product solutions.
- Identify requirements for product modifications, custom engineering, or Engineering review.
- Coordinate complex opportunities with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and customers.
- Support engineered-to-order (ETO) and technically complex orders through handoff and processing.
- Manage opportunities through discovery, quotation, negotiation, and order conversion.
- Maintain accurate CRM activity, opportunity pipelines, and quotation records.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities based on customer applications.
- 3 years of experience in technical sales, applications support, applications engineering, or technical customer support preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Experience with power electronics, AC/DC or DC/DC power conversion, batteries, power supplies, UPS systems, or power distribution is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, specifications, and datasheets.
- Understanding of voltage, current, power, loads, and electrical interfaces.
- Strong technical communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with technical quoting, proposals, cost estimates, or product configuration preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, CRM, or ERP systems is a plus.
