Our client is looking for a Store Manager in retail fashion to lead their flagship store and drive both customer experience and commercial performance. This is a full-time leadership role responsible for overseeing store operations, developing a high-performing team, and delivering exceptional brand representation in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and inspire a store team to deliver outstanding customer experiences and achieve sales targets
- Drive store performance through KPI tracking, business reviews, and daily sales optimization
- Oversee all store operations including scheduling, payroll, stock flow, inventory management, and loss prevention
- Ensure consistent visual merchandising, cleanliness, and back-of-house standards
- Recruit, onboard, and develop talent aligned with brand values and service standards
- Deliver brand storytelling on the shop floor, emphasizing product knowledge and customer connection
- Support and execute local marketing initiatives and community engagement
- Partner with HQ teams across HR, Merchandising, Operations, IT, and Marketing
- Manage opening/closing procedures and maintain full operational accountability
Requirements
- Previous retail management experience, ideally within fashion or lifestyle retail
- Proven success in achieving or exceeding sales targets and KPIs
- Strong leadership experience with a focus on coaching and team development
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Solid understanding of retail operations (scheduling, payroll, inventory, VM)
- Passion for fashion, with a strong appreciation for denim
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
