About the Job
Our client, a leading global apparel organization with a strong wholesale and retail footprint, is seeking a Senior Demand Planner to drive forecasting, inventory strategy, and overall planning execution across key accounts. This individual will play a critical role in aligning supply with demand while supporting revenue and profitability goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage demand forecasts using historical data and trend analysis
- Partner with account teams to support replenishment strategies and assortment planning
- Monitor in-season performance and adjust forecasts based on business trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production, inventory, and sales plans
- Oversee inventory planning and recommend purchase decisions to meet demand
- Support financial planning through reporting, projections, and analysis
- Evaluate stock levels and identify opportunities to improve inventory efficiency
- Provide insights on product performance, inventory risks, and growth opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- 5 years of experience in planning, forecasting, or inventory management
- Strong understanding of retail math and forecasting methodologies
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with planning systems is a plus
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into business decisions
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
