Packaging Manager

Our client, a growing home products company, is seeking a Packaging Manager to lead packaging design and development across multiple licensed and internal brands. This role will oversee a small team while working closely with merchandising, sourcing, and overseas partners to bring packaging concepts from design through production.

Responsibilities:

• Lead packaging design and development for various product lines
• Manage and mentor a team of packaging designers
• Oversee communication with overseas partners to execute and approve packaging
• Create and maintain brand packaging, labels, and presentation concepts
• Direct product photo direction and packaging presentations for key customers
• Conduct trend research and competitive analysis within the retail landscape

Qualifications:

• Strong packaging design and development experience
• Background in Photoshop and Illustrator (PC-based environment)
• Previous team management experience required
• Ability to balance creative branding with technical packaging execution

Details:

• 5 days onsite in NYC
• Team of ~26 employees in NY plus additional team in China
• Portfolio of licensed and internal brands across consumer products
