Our client, a luxury home company, is looking for a Business Development Manager to join the team!
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute local business development strategies to increase brand awareness, qualified client traffic, and showroom appointments.
- Build and maintain relationships with designers, architects, builders, luxury real estate professionals, concierge services, hospitality groups, wellness communities, and other aligned luxury partners.
- Identify and cultivate new partnership opportunities that support long-term market growth and client acquisition
- Maintain ongoing communication and follow-up with prospective and existing clients through phone, email, text, events, and in-person outreach.
- Support appointment generation, lead tracking, referral development, and long-term client relationship management.
- Contribute to overall showroom sales goals and client retention initiatives.
- Assist in planning and executing luxury events, partnership activations, private appointments, and community experiences.
- Communicate the craftsmanship, heritage, wellness benefits, and customization capabilities of the brands with confidence and authenticity.
- Maintain accurate CRM/clienteling notes, lead tracking, and follow-up activity.
- Provide feedback and insights from the market regarding partnerships, trends, customer behavior, and business opportunities.
- Support showroom events, special appointments, and peak business periods as needed.
Requirements
- 3 - 7 years of experience in luxury retail, business development, hospitality, clienteling, partnerships, sales, or relationship management preferred.
- Proven ability to build relationships and generate business opportunities within luxury or high-touch client environments.
- Strong interpersonal, networking, communication, and presentation skills.
- Professional, polished, and hospitality-oriented demeanor.
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Comfortable working independently while also collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and evolving environment.
- Experience with CRM/clienteling systems, Microsoft Office, and digital communication tools preferred.
- Flexible schedule with availability for evenings, weekends, networking events, and occasional travel as needed.
