Our client, a leading elevated women's contemporary apparel brand, is seeking a Head Designer to join their growing team in NYC!
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of seasonal product assortments in collaboration with the Creative Director.
- Execute design work in alignment with brand direction and business objectives.
- Manage timelines and ensure key project milestones are met.
- Communicate effectively with internal partners.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members as needed.
- Maintain quality, consistency, and attention to detail across all product categories.
- Contribute to process improvements and support additional design initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in Apparel Design.
- Strong understanding of the product design and development process from concept through production, particularly in elevated RTW environments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Ability to adapt to evolving business needs while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Full Time On Site with occasional work from home flexibility
Salary: $130,000 to $150,000 commensurate with experience
