Our client, a well-established accessories company, is seeking a Designer to support private-label and licensed accessories for infants and toddlers. This role blends design and merchandising, partnering closely with senior leadership from concept through production.
Key Responsibilities
- Design seasonal accessories collections across categories
- Create sketches, flats, and design presentations for internal and external reviews
- Develop colorways, materials, trims, and artwork in line with brand aesthetic and target cost
- Build and manage seasonal assortments and line plans
- Support trend research, assortment strategy, and white-space analysis
- Own development timelines, sampling, and vendor coordination
- Source fabrics, trims, and manufacturing partners
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate sampling and market readiness
- Maintain product records, line sheets, and cost tracking
- Support vendor negotiations
Qualifications
- 4–5 years in accessories design
- Highly organized with strong time management and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel); Adobe Creative Suite a plus
- Experience working with overseas factories and costing
- Detail-oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
