Four Points by Sheraton Eastham Cape Cod is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and organized Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will help ensure that clean linens and towels are consistently available to support daily hotel operations and provide a comfortable experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens and towels
- Sort laundry by type and condition before washing
- Operate commercial washers and dryers safely and efficiently
- Maintain a steady supply of clean linens and towels for the housekeeping team
- Inspect linens and towels for stains, damage, or excessive wear
- Separate damaged or unusable linens and report shortages to management
- Organize and stock clean linens in designated storage areas
- Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and safe
- Clean lint traps and maintain cleanliness around laundry equipment
- Monitor laundry supplies and notify management when items are running low
- Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and laundry products
- Communicate with the housekeeping team to prioritize linen needs
- Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures
- Assist with other housekeeping-related duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous hotel laundry, housekeeping, or professional cleaning experience preferred, but not required
- Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and stay productive throughout the shift
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hotel environment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and carry loads of linens and towels
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed
Schedule:
- Day and/or evening shifts
- Weekend availability required
- Hours may vary based on hotel occupancy and business needs
