Position Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up, operating, and maintaining audio and video equipment for studio and field productions.
- Capture high-quality video and audio for projects including interviews, promotional pieces, live events, and educational content.
- Organize and manage media assets, ensuring proper labeling, storage, and archiving.
- Perform basic and advanced video editing using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or similar.
- Support sound design, mixing, and mastering tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with the production team on storyboarding, scripting, and shot lists.
- Assist with setup and camera operation under supervision.
- Research creative ideas and techniques to enhance production quality.
- Ensure all content adheres to district branding, copyright, and accessibility standards.
- Demonstrate professional skills through clear and concise communication.
- Maintain a safe work environment by ensuring hardware and equipment poses no dangers to human safety.
- Maintain documentation of work policies and procedures and complete required documentation in a timely manner.
- Perform department specific projects and duties as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Interns will be paid $30 per game. AV Practicum students are guaranteed a minimum of 10 hours per week at $10/hour. Hours worked during sporting events count toward the weekly minimum.

- Current High School Student
- Valid Texas Drivers License
- FBISD Audio/Video Production Practicum student preferred
- Basic computing skills, including MS office required
