Position Summary
The Quality Assurance Trainer/Auditor is responsible for quality review of work completed by department specialists monthly. This position analyzes errors and determines current skill levels with unit manager and identifies training needs and strategies to meet quality standards. This information can then be used to determine additional training requirements and to provide indicators to enhance performance of units.
Expectations
- Completes audits of individual employee’s work providing feedback and performance grade to the Department Manager.
- Completes audits of application set up to ensure information is fully completed on the correct application form with accurate information.
- Complete audit of payment processing to ensure accurate amount has been entered into the system in a timely manner.
- Complete audit of enforce changes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Complete targeted audits of various processes as directed by Department Manager.
- Recommends additional training and may participate in additional training modules, if necessary to improve areas of performance.
- Recommends changes in workflow to improve overall quality, if necessary.
- Works with indirect supervision.
- Position requires thorough knowledge of company policies, products and workflow.
- Possesses ability to communicate effectively with internal and external staff.
Competencies
- Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as oral, analytical, facilitations and written skills.
- Proficient level of organizational skills.
- Proficient PC applications skills in Windows-based products.
Requisites
- 5 years’ experience in Insurance Administration
- College degree
