We are seeking a Warehouse Program Manager to oversee project execution across warehousing operations. This role is responsible for driving efficiency, safety, and quality while ensuring all projects meet customer expectations and operational standards.
This is a high-impact leadership position with responsibility for managing Project Managers and Senior Project Managers, leading cross-functional execution, and ensuring successful delivery of complex, multi-site projects. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on involvement.
Essential Duties and Functions
- Lead and oversee all warehousing project execution to ensure alignment with customer requirements and operational goals.
- Directly manage and develop Senior Project Managers and Project Managers within the warehousing function.
- Establish regular communication rhythms, including check-ins and project reviews, to monitor progress and performance.
- Ensure all projects are properly staffed and resourced for successful execution.
- Oversee development and maintenance of project schedules, timelines, and budgets.
- Manage project forecasting and resource planning across multiple warehouse locations.
- Provide on-site operational support as needed to ensure high standards of execution.
- Conduct site audits to assess performance, compliance, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver customer-facing presentations and updates.
- Promote a “Safety First” culture across all phases of project execution.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and operational performance.
- Travel extensively (approximately 75% initially) to gain hands-on exposure to operations, transitioning to a rotational travel schedule thereafter.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Management, or a related field preferred.
- 5–7 years of project management experience, ideally within logistics, warehousing, or industrial environments.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
- Strong leadership skills with experience developing and guiding high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including experience with customer-facing interactions.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing demands.
- Proactive, self-starter mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with moderate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with financial or project management systems (e.g., Viewpoint or similar platforms) preferred.
