What are the responsibilities and job description for the Brand Director position at ForceBrands?

Location: NYC, 3-4 days a week, onsite
What You'll Do:
- Lead brand strategy, storytelling, and creative direction across all consumer touchpoints
- Own and evolve brand voice, visual identity, and overall brand consistency
- Develop and execute innovative campaigns, partnerships, and activations to drive awareness
- Create scrappy, high-impact marketing moments that generate organic buzz and cultural relevance
- Identify and lead brand collaborations and partnerships that expand reach and visibility
- Translate consumer insights and internal data into compelling, consumer-facing brand initiatives
- Guide agencies across PR, design, and digital to ensure strong creative execution
- Ensure a cohesive brand presence across social, retail, experiential, and digital channels
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, R&D, and Operations on product launches and innovation planning
- Build and manage a forward-looking marketing calendar tied to key moments, launches, and cultural events
- Bring forward net-new ideas and concepts that align with brand vision and drive differentiation
- (Nice-to-have) Support project management and internal alignment across key initiatives
Qualifications:
- 3–7 years in brand marketing, creative strategy, or similar
- Proven ability to build brand awareness through creative, culturally relevant campaigns
- Experience in high-growth, resource-constrained environments
- Strong creative instincts, storytelling, and visual sensibility
- Track record of scrappy, viral, or organic marketing success
- Experience with brand partnerships and collaborations
- Collaborative and able to work cross-functionally and with agencies
- Background in CPG
