We’re recruiting for a Construction Project Administrator to support a busy construction and operations team in a dynamic commercial property environment. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Birmingham, MI, working closely with leadership, tenants, contractors, and vendors to keep projects moving and documentation organized.
Key Responsibilities:

Partner with the Director of Construction to coordinate daily administrative and project activities

Manage contractor onboarding, insurance certificates, and compliance documentation

Prepare and maintain construction status reports, management reports, and operational updates across multiple properties

Coordinate tenant buildouts including permits, utility requests, and municipal documentation

Support bid processes, contract preparation, and contractor communications

Track and process tenant allowances, deposits, and project closeout documentation

Serve as a liaison between tenants, architects, contractors, and local municipalities

Maintain construction records, drawings, and as-built documentation using tools like Bluebeam/BlueRevu
-
Assist with incident reporting, insurance claims, and vendor coordination

Support general office operations including phones, reporting distribution, and shared spaces
What You’ll Bring:

Background in construction administration, property management, or project coordination

Experience supporting multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Familiarity with construction documents, permits, and contractor workflows

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through

Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners

Experience with Bluebeam or similar construction/document tools is a plus

Formal education or training in construction, business, or related field is helpful but not required
