Construction Accounting Manager
North Metro Atlanta Area | Fully Onsite
A well-established and growing construction-related company is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Construction Accounting Manager with strong project accounting and job costing experience.
This is a hands-on role supporting a fast-paced operational environment with multiple active projects. The ideal candidate will have experience managing construction accounting workflows, project cost tracking, billing processes, and full-cycle bookkeeping responsibilities.
Responsibilities Include:
• Full-cycle bookkeeping including AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Job costing and project profitability tracking
• Construction billing support including schedules of values, change orders, retainage, and subcontractor invoicing
• Supporting multiple active projects simultaneously
• Working closely with operations and project management teams
• Maintaining accurate financial reporting and project cost visibility
• Assisting with process improvements and accounting organization
Preferred Background:
• Construction, contractor, telecom, infrastructure, electrical, roofing, HVAC, or field-service accounting experience
• Strong understanding of project costs and operational accounting workflows
• QuickBooks Online experience required
• Experience with project management/accounting systems such as Procore, BuilderTrend, Sage
Contractor, or similar is highly preferred
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment
This position is fully onsite in the North Metro Atlanta area.
