Position Summary
Endurant is recruiting a Manager, FP&A & Accounting for a high-visibility role reporting directly to the CFO. This position is intentionally designed as a hybrid finance and accounting leadership role.
The successful candidate will bring a strong accounting foundation, sound GAAP judgment, and the ability to own key close and reporting responsibilities, while also leading core FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis.
This role partners closely with brand Controllers and executive leadership, serving as both a strategic advisor and a hands-on leader as the organization continues to professionalize its financial infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
Accounting & Controllership Leadership
- Own HoldCo accounting, monthly close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Partner with brand Controllers to review monthly results, ensure consistency, and support timely close processes
- Lead coordination of the annual audit, including PBC management and auditor interaction
- Support GAAP compliance, accounting policy interpretation, and process standardization across brands
- Assist in strengthening internal controls, close discipline, and reporting accuracy in a PE-backed environment
FP&A & Strategic Finance
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and capital allocation decisions
- Build and enhance KPI frameworks and executive dashboards to track operational and financial performance
- Perform variance analysis and identify key business drivers, risks, and opportunities
- Prepare executive-level reporting and presentation materials for leadership and investors
Systems & Process Improvement
- Partner with the CFO on the implementation and optimization of a new financial reporting platform (Vena)
- Improve reporting efficiency, data quality, and financial visibility across the organization
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and leadership to improve financial decision-making
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Accounting strongly preferred)
- 4–8 years of progressive experience in public accounting, controllership, and/or FP&A
- Experience in a private equity-backed or fast-growing, multi-entity environment preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP, month-end close, reconciliations, and audit processes
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; strong systems and data aptitude (AI experience, not required)
- Proven ability to balance hands-on execution with strategic thinking
- Track record of professional growth, ownership, and stability
- Strong communicator with the ability to partner effectively with senior leadership
- Must be able to work in the Norcross office
