Job Summary:
Responsible for processing customer returns (RMA – Return Merchandise Authorization) in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring all returned items are verified, documented, and routed appropriately within 24 hours of receipt.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process incoming customer returns within 24 hours of arrival at the facility
- Inspect returned items to confirm they match the original product sold
- Verify serial numbers against manufacturer packaging and system records
- Assess product condition (new, used, or damaged)
- Accurately determine and assign disposition of returned items:
o New items return to inventory/stock
o Used items send to testing/inspection team
o Damaged items route to RTV (Return to Vendor) bin
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all return documentation and system updates
- Follow company procedures for handling and tracking returned merchandise
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move items weighing 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to accurately identify product condition and discrepancies
- Basic understanding of inventory or warehouse processes (preferred)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
